Foot & Ankle Pain Treatment

Your foundation, treated properly

Every step routes your body weight through 26 bones and a network of tendons that were built to handle it — until injury, footwear, or training changes overload something. Foot and ankle problems change how you walk, and a changed walk climbs the chain to the knees, hips, and back. Treating the foundation well protects everything above it.

What we treat

  • Plantar fasciitis and heel pain
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Ankle sprains — acute and the chronically “weak” ankle
  • Posterior tibial tendon problems and adult flatfoot
  • Recovery after fracture or foot/ankle surgery
  • Neuropathy-related balance problems

Why sprained ankles deserve rehab

Up to 40% of ankle sprains become chronic instability — not because the ligament stayed loose, but because the balance-and-reaction system that guards the ankle never got retrained. A few weeks of targeted rehab after a sprain is the cheapest insurance in orthopedics.

Heel pain that won’t quit

Plantar fasciitis responds best to a combination: calf and foot loading exercises, hands-on treatment, footwear guidance, and activity modification while tissue adapts. Cortisone and rest alone have the highest relapse rates — loading is what changes the tissue.

Common questions

Do I need orthotics?
Sometimes — as a tool, not a cure. If your mechanics benefit from support, we’ll say so; but strength and mobility do the durable work.
How long does plantar fasciitis take?
With consistent loading treatment, most people improve meaningfully within six to twelve weeks — faster when footwear and training errors are corrected early.
My ankle still feels weak years later. Fixable?
Almost always. Chronic instability responds well to progressive balance and strength training at any point after the original sprain.
