FAQ
What patients ask us most.
If you don’t see your question here, call or text us at (732) 705-6211 — a real person answers during business hours.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to start?
In New Jersey you can usually see a PT directly — most patients start without a referral. We’ll tell you if your plan needs one.
My doctor said to rest it. Should I?
Rest helps some strains — but when pain lasts past a couple of weeks, early therapy is usually easier and shorter than waiting.
How long is each session, and how often will I come?
Sessions are one-on-one with your PT. Frequency depends on your case — we set a clear schedule at your first visit.
Will it hurt?
Therapy should challenge you, not harm you. We work at the right level and adjust every visit.
Do I need an MRI or X-ray first?
Usually not to begin. A hands-on movement exam tells us a great deal; we’ll refer for imaging if it’s warranted.
I’ve done PT before and it didn’t work. Why is this different?
No printouts, no parked-on-a-bike. Every visit is one-on-one, hands-on, with a plan that adapts as you do.
Can I do sessions virtually?
Yes — we offer video visits for screenings and follow-ups when that’s the right fit.
